Any musical virtuosos amongst you can bring the atmosphere with a tinkle on the ivories. Or throw some shapes with an impromptu family disco in the kitchen –⁠ there's a stereo system and neon light at the ready.

If you fancy a night off cooking, the happening art quarter is well worth a visit with its treasure trove of cafes, restaurants, and pubs, or mosey down to the seafront to the Crab Stack (a nine-minute walk) for the freshest seafood imaginable. Down here, you'll also find Teignmouth's Victorian pier, lido, play park, crazy golf, skate park, and of course, the beaches. The charming Teignmouth Back Beach (an eleven-minute walk) located on the estuary side of the town, with spectacular views looking towards Dartmoor at sunset, gets our vote.
