If you're feeling energetic then there are plenty of ways to get your heart pumping – hit one of the nearby hiking trails in the morning, before jumping on your bike or enjoying a spot of kayaking on Lake Cuyamaca in the afternoon. *The elevation is close to 5,000 feet so it can get quite windy and cold up here
* No parties, events or bonfires are allowed
* Smoking isn’t allowed anywhere on the property, even outside
* Dogs must be approved with the host beforehand, and you'll need to pay an additional fee of $75 per pet
* Remember to bring charcoal for the barbecue and bottled water in case the well water isn’t to your liking
*If you require wheelchair access then speak to your host before booking
*During the winter the pipes can freeze, so you will need to turn the house water off before bed and on again in the morning
*During the summer the power may be shut off during high winds, but there is a generator
