Cottage was clean and comfortable. The best cottage we have stayed in and the owners were very helpful.

The position of this cottage within The Burran was very good and great that it was well away from the road. The weather was great, the Burran's flora in May is wonderful and this cottage sits right by many archaeological sites. We had plenty to see over the week.

We liked the interior décor, it was crisp, bright and welcoming. Dolmen Cottage itself nestles amongst some of the few mature trees in The Burren with a scattering of bluebells and tulips. It was genuinely a haven, I loved every minute.

The property was presented in excellent, clean condition and its location is very good, too. Many thanks to the owners also for contacting us to see if all was well.

The cottage was in a perfect location. The cottage was beautifully decorated and we needed for nothing, it was like a home away from home. It was excellent. The owners were very welcoming!

The hosts were fabulous and very helpful. The cottage is in an excellent location for exploring The Burren and an easy drive to many restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The house is fresh and modern with great features. It is warm, cosy and well lit. Perfect size for a family of 4 although it was just the two of us. We stayed for 2 weeks but wish we had stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Loved this cottage as good central location for exploring the area. Everything you need is provided, all mod cons but a rural feel and location. Very spacious comfortable design. Chuffed that we could have our wee dog with us as not many owners allow this, big garden for him to snuffle around.
A great place to 'get away from it all' if desired; still plenty to do in locality when you want. Some super local eateries serving fresh produce (you can't get fresher than the chef taking your lobster from a pot pulled from the harbour!).
Very friendly helpful owners on hand if need anything or have a question.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when visiting the county.

Access to wi-fi would have been ideal to look up details whilst there but not a major issue as you can do it 'old school' with the leaflets and books provided in the cottage.

Dolmen cottage is lovely and cosy place in charming country location. Owners are kind and hospitable. House is located in the heart of Burren and is a perfect spot for staying while visiting attractions in the area. Another great thing is that we could take our two dogs with us as Dolmen cottage is friendly for well behaved pets :) I really recommend that place!

A lovely cottage situated in a beautiful part of Co. Clare. The cottage was first class and the only downside was having to leave after a really enjoyable holiday. The owners of the cottage were more then helpful and made you feel really welcome. Looking forward to returning.

The cottage was lovely and on arrival we were met by the owner, whom is lovely and gave great advice on the area. The furniture is of high quality and the garden is a good size for the dogs. The photos really don’t do it justice.
Shopping, fishing and pubs a short drive away. walking in the area
