If space and quiet in London are at the top of your list, you've just found a pearl. This lovely home has plenty of both – a rarity this close to the city centre. It’s a two-minute walk to Paddington Station, putting all of London at your disposal. Or, stay in the area and explore Hyde Park (a ten-minute walk) and the global eateries and bars that fill the streets around Paddington. Back at the home, a big living room has more than enough room for the group across two sofas and armchairs, perfect to unwind after a day in the city. The full kitchen is separate and has everything you need to knock up a family meal – served at the long dining table. Traditional features like fireplaces in the bedrooms, gilded mirrors and bay windows keep things classy. We particularly love the little outdoor space, set up with a picnic-style table for four and perfect for an evening glass of wine.
