Or, instead of cooking, sample the local cuisine at the lively tavernas in Elia, only a short drive away. There you'll find a famous beach as well as a watersports centre where you can try windsurfing or water-skiing. For a change of scenery, hop on the taxi boat (called a 'caique') and explore other beaches along the Mykonos coast, including Paradise and Platis Gialos.
