Housed in a beautiful medieval tower whose history is linked to Italian poet, writer and philosopher Dante Alighieri, this creatively designed apartment brings the past and the present together in immaculate style.

We love the living area with its funky beanbag chairs and shelves stacked with books and ornaments, while the office room can’t help but inspire creativity with its exposed brick walls and heavy wooden windows. Mealtimes call for celebratory dinners around the elegant glass dining table over a bottle of local red, while sleep comes easy in the beautifully styled rooms where angelic dreams are all but guaranteed in the mezzanine main bedroom with its cathedral-style ceiling.

While you could spend all day in your home soaking up its history and admiring the views of Piazza di San Pier Maggiore from its first-floor vantage point, we recommend heading out to explore the city up close. You’re ideally located to get the most out of Florence’s cultural hotspots, with the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (650 metres away), the Uffizi Gallery (600 metres away), Ponte Vecchio (800 metres away) and the Accademia Gallery (1 kilometre away) all within easy walking distance, as well as countless others.
