Crossed Paths: Tuscany

Crossed Paths is right in the middle of the city – at one end of the street is Santa Maria Novella, at the other the river. It’s a great position to be in, and it feels like that’s informed some of the interiors. They’re kept in fantastic condition, but the decoration feels a little impersonal, and you’d struggle to cook a dinner party in that kitchen. Still, you aren’t exactly short of things to do and places to eat in the area.

*You'll have to climb the stairs to the second floor to get to the flat – there's no lift in the building
*The kitchen can handle basic meals, but there's no oven, and the hob only has two rings on it
*There aren't any laundry facilities in the flat
*Two people can sleep on a sofa bed in the living room
*There's only one shower, which might not be enough if six people are staying at once
