A warm welcome, with some lovely home made bread, lemon drizzle cake, butter, milk, coffee and tea put out for us. We were over, sadly, for a old family friend's funeral and could not find vacancies for 3 adults at local hotels and B&Bs; found this effectively holiday home and could not have had a better result.
Plenty of room and beautifully decorated.
Complete privacy, and wonderful views around the converted barn.
Excellent value for money, with villages and towns a stones throw away. The pub at the top of the lane, doubles as a grocery store, so you are never left short.
Bicycle riding is a great way to get around, if you want to abandon the car.
Recommend highly for short and longer stays.
Will be going back.
