Area Wivey is a popular nickname for the residents of this mediaeval market town located in the Brendon Hills on the outskirts of Exmoor. From here, you can easily access a variety of outdoor activities, such as fishing for trout in the placid waters of Clatworthy Reservoir or Wimbleball Lake, horseback riding at one of several local stables, or simply strolling through the picturesque countryside on one of the many well-marked routes.
