The loch itself offers days of adventure with plenty of opportunities to play about on the water on a kayak, paddleboard, or guided boat trip. On dry land, you can browse the shops, grab a bite to eat and then spend some time visiting the SEA LIFE Aquarium or Birds of Prey Centre. Spend the day exploring Balloch Castle Country Park with 200 acres to explore, including walled gardens, nature trails and guided walks. In the evening, take a stroll along to the friendly local pub and restaurant (1 mile). Take the opportunity to explore Stirling, 21 miles away, with its own famous castle high up on the rocks or visit the city of Glasgow, 23 miles. Enter this beautiful cottage in the spacious lounge and relax on the comfortable sofas after a day out exploring. On a cooler evening, light the wood burner and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV. Next, is the kitchen with a beautiful wood counter; cook up a storm and set the table for a romantic meal.
