This beautiful, detached property has been converted with exceptional attention to detail and enjoys picturesque countryside views. It is conveniently located a mile from the sought after village of North Cadbury with a country pub and village store. This is a great base from which to explore the scenic and historic counties of Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire. Enjoy visiting the historic towns of Castle Cary (4.6 miles), Bruton ( 6.4 miles), Sherborne (8.3 miles) and Wincanton (5 miles), recognized for its racecourse. You could even catch a train to the thriving city of Bristol, or the historic city of Bath, as Castle Cary train station is just 6.5 miles away. Countless day trips include Fleet Air Arm Museum (7.7 miles), National Trusts Stourhead house and gardens (13 miles), The Newt in Somerset (4.5 miles) with its picturesque gardens, ancient woodland, restaurant and shop, and Longleat Safari Park (20.5 miles). Step inside this stunning property and you will immediately find yourself in a light and airy entrance hall. From here, head into the well appointed kitchen/diner with a great range of appliances, a breakfast bar and a dining table, which is perfect for relaxed family meals, or for a special celebration. From the kitchen/diner you can access the conservatory which has comfy seating and doors that open into the large courtyard. Back to the kitchen/diner and into the lounge where you can relax on the corner sofa and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV in front of the warming gas effect wood burner. From the lounge head into the snug which is a perfect room to relax in with your favourite book with doors opening into the courtyard. Off the snug is a useful utility room and an integral door to the large garage where you could leave muddy boots, or securely store bikes. Head up the open staircase from the lounge to the king size bedroom which has a TV, walk in wardrobe and an en suite shower room. Head back to the hall where you will find two twin bedrooms, one is located on the ground floor and the second is accessed via an open, narrow, wooden spiral staircase and is built in the eaves of the property. Completing this part of the accommodation is a large wet room shower. The final bedroom is a double and is in the single storey studio which is a stone s throw from the property overlooking the courtyard, a perfect retreat for Grandparents! The studio has a lounge/kitchen/diner with a comfy sofa and a Smart TV, a double bedroom and a shower room. Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard which comprises of a seating area where guests will find a table and chairs and can enjoy some alfresco dining. There is also a summer house that plays host to a games room, the perfect spot to enjoy a game of darts, or play on the PlayStation on the Smart TV. From the courtyard, head down some steps to a large enclosed lawn garden where children will have plenty of room to play. To the back of the property is a second lawn garden accessed via six sleeper steps.
