Set on a small country estate within a working farm, overlooking the glorious Herefordshire countryside, guests can enjoy a harmonious blend of rustic charm and modern luxury at this property. The traditional village of Madley is within a 1 mile walk and offers a well stocked village store and traditional inn, plus a 9 hole golf course and tennis courts. The picturesque surroundings are perfect for walkers, with acres of farmland, lakes and woodlands to explore. The Hay Bluff is within easy reach, where you can join the Offa s Dyke footpath along Hatterrall Ridge or take on Twmpa within the Black Mountains. A trip to the Welsh Border market town of Hay on Wye (15 miles), famous for its many book shops, is highly recommended. The cathedral city of Hereford, the food hub of Ludlow, and Brecon Beacons National Park gateway, Abergavenny, are all within 30 miles. The property enjoys an open aspect across the beautifully landscaped grounds towards Hatterell Ridge and is situated adjacent to the owner s main residence. This former granary has been cleverly configured with a first floor living space that s perfect for relaxing whilst enjoying the scenery. As you step inside, you'll find yourself on the ground floor, where an inviting kitchen and dining area await. Bathed in natural light, cosy from an Aga, and enjoying views across the lake, this space is simply perfect for creating culinary delights or simply enjoying a delicious meal.
