Three storey Lakeland stone town house just 150 metres from central Keswick. With much to do on your doorstep, leave the car and head out on foot. Many local fells are accessible or take a stroll down to the lake shores of Derwentwater (0.5 miles) to catch the launch from Keswick across the lake and conquer the stunning Catbells, popular with walkers of all ages and abilities. For something more challenging, Skiddaw (5 miles) is a slightly longer, higher walk and, at over 3,000 feet, on a clear day you can see far and wide. Keswick has an abundance of shops, including small independent traders, galleries, and of course tea rooms. The Theatre By The Lake has many well known productions too (0.5 miles). Walk through the courtyard garden up to the front door. As you enter the property, you will find yourself in the lobby which offers lots of shoe storage and somewhere to hang your coats, as well as a utility area. The ground floor has attractive oak flooring with underfloor heating. Opposite the entrance is a shower room which is very useful when you have been out exploring all day and want to come straight in and wash off.
