As you’d expect from a studio apartment, space is limited here, but it has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchenette is perfect for whipping up light breakfasts before a day of sightseeing, rather than cooking extravagant home meals. That said, with a whole host of eateries on your doorstep, dining out is a breeze for some authentic Portuguese cuisine.

*Parking in Porto can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot for free. You'll need to request it in advance.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
*This apartment overlooks neighbouring homes. The views aren't the most inspiring and it lacks a little privacy.
