A laidback and welcoming apartment in Florence’s cool San Frediano district, this place makes you feel at home as soon as you step through the door. The timber ceiling beams in the living space add a rustic charm and we loved the contrasting lime green and mocha brown colour scheme. Wake up refreshed and well-rested in the floral print bedroom before rustling up breakfast in the fully-equipped kitchen.

When you’re not kicking back with a good book on the sofa, head out and explore your surroundings. Pore over the elaborate frescos in the Cappella Brancacci, just a two-minute walk away. Or why not cross the Ponte alla Carraia into the heart of the city for the iconic Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fior and the bustling Piazza della Repubblica – an excellent spot to people watch with a coffee in hand.

*If you're travelling by plane, Florence Airport is a twenty-five-minute drive from this home.
