The surrounding medieval streets lead to bustling squares, including the famous Plaza de la Cebada and Plaza de los Carros. Back home, the open-plan living room has a sofa bed to accommodate your third and fourth guests. It's pocket-sized, so don't expect a lot of space to spread out – the kitchen is particularly compact. That said, the Juliet balcony is a nice touch and your host can arrange extras like fridge fills and parking to make your stay even better.

*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area – although we think this home is better for two guests. *We recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport. The closest metros are Puerta de Toledo and La Latina, both a six-minute walk away. *Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. *This home is located within an apartment building, with a shared entrance. Expect to bump into other guests during your stay. *You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals. *The dining table doubles as a desk if you're travelling for work.
