It's easy to see why we like this home – aside from being immaculate, bright, it's also located so close to Pink Street that you can almost spot the pink from the living room. The views are spectacular, and you'll have no trouble catching the river breeze here on the fourth floor. The furniture is high-quality, relying on good old Portuguese design to express its vintage character.

* The kitchen is oddly located in a corridor, making socialisation a bit tricky
* Also, the natural light in the kitchen is quite sparse
* The neighbourhood of Cais do Sodré is beautiful and popular, but not quiet – keep your windows closed if you want peace
* The generic prints might not be to everyone's taste
