The typically Tuscan gardens at this villa are home to a private swimming pool, patios and a gazebo shading the outdoor dining and lounge area. Inside, it's all traditional decor, like a lofty living room set around an ancient hearth. A twisting staircase (not suitable for kids) leads to an additional tucked-away lounge in the turret. On the ground floor, you'll find a bedroom and bathroom designed for wheelchair users, so this place is particularly accessible. The villa is surrounded by woodland and rolling hills and there's a rustic restaurant a short walk away. For days out, the hilltop town of Peccioli is a short drive.
