Start the day with breakfast outside while you soak up the view down to the sea. The apartment leads down to the residents’ garden, with perfectly manicured lawns, lush plant life and a communal swimming pool where you can cool off and relax on a deck chair.

You could easily spend all day admiring the gardens and splashing around in the water, but there’s plenty to explore nearby too. Golf lovers rejoice: Nueva Andalucía is the golf valley of the Costa del Sol, and there are a range of breathtaking courses within easy reach from the apartment, with the mountains as a backdrop. The house is a short drive from the sandy beach at Puerto Banus. Come evening, make the journey into Marbella, where you’ll find excellent restaurants and buzzy beach bars. Alternatively, take advantage of the unparalleled views from your terrace and watch the sun set over the mountains, preferably with a cocktail in hand.
