Sandbrook House is a luxury period country house set in 25 acres of parkland, close to the Carlow and Wicklow border.
Situated within the grounds of Sandbrook, the cosy and welcoming Dairy Cottage is available for bookings or a permanent let. This annexed cottage sleeps 3 people and has its own small courtyard. The cottage consists of 2 bedrooms (double and single) a shower/bathroom, kitchen and living space and sits in gorgeous tranquil surroundings, nestled within County Carlow and is very well located.
The cottage is a comfortable and private dwelling, brimming with character and tucked away in the heart of the Irish countryside.

Thank you so much for a fabulous weekend. We adored every minute. It was just so lovely relaxing in beautiful surroundings, how lucky you are to be able to use that house all the time.
Had a peek at the barn, how fabulous! Very rustic and I could imagine a room full of people sitting around in candlelight! Very special setting. I will certainly recommend it if I hear of any private parties coming up. I’m sure once this covid pandemic is nearly over – there’ll be lots of parties and weddings again held there. I only remembered after I left I never wrote in the visitor book, it completely slipped my mind! Sorry!
Please do let us know if you ever have another weekend free like that again, maybe next year. The four couples thought it would be a great thing to do yearly, so we’d love it. I can imagine you’re very full with bookings.

Second visit to Sandbrook House
We had a really wonderful stay at Sandbrook House, it really does feel as if we’re coming home every time we turn up there. As far as the questionnaire is concerned – all is fabulous, we have absolutely all that we need, and we are made to feel most welcome, and do really appreciate things like the flowers, and of course the excellent Christmas tree!
John cooked us an excellent meal and Jackie hosted us for the night, which was a lovely evening for us all.

When we arrived for our weekend, we were greeted by stunning grounds that surrounded the house. When you walk through the house it has lots of character and a homely feeling. The back garden is where we spent the majority of our time between the seating areas enjoying the flowers and the views, it was beautiful and made the visit all the more enjoyable.
