Hop on the metro at Saldanha, a four-minute stroll away, to reach Lisbon Cathedral and the Praça do Comércio in no more than twenty minutes. We recommend staying local at lunchtime, though – there are a number of fantastic independent eateries just moments from your doorstep.

Back at your pad, the open-plan living space is the perfect place to put your feet up with a pastel de nata or two. While away the hours on your private balcony until dusk falls across the terracotta rooftops, then retreat to the quiet bedrooms when the stars begin to appear – the supremely comfortable beds make early nights ever so tempting.
