Instead you might choose to start your day lazily, by lying in late as you catch up on series in bed. When you can no longer resist the aroma of freshly-brewed coffee coming from the kitchen, find your way there and into the possession of your own before getting started on breakfast.

Dine alfresco out on the terrace and contemplate the day ahead – are you reading by the pool or swimming out to the edge of the infinity pool so you can admire the view? Are you catching a family movie together, or gathering around the barbecue as you grill up a Mediterranean feast for lunch?
