Otherwise, bike around and explore Bill Baggs and Cape Florida State Park, or get a bit of adventure in and explore the coastal barrier reef – the only federally recognized underwater archaeological trail in the United States. Your host can also arrange a golf cart for you to buzz around the island, and when you return back at home, you’ll find a bright modern home just a block away from the beach. The living area is comfortable and stylish, with large windows that flood the room with natural light. The bedrooms are pared-down but welcoming, looking onto the same vibrant green trees.
