Perched up high in a resort, this apartment on Sardinia's east coast offers fantastic ocean and mountain views from the large terrace – perfect for watching the sunrise. While some of the interior is a little dated, we love that the main bedroom offers another spot to view the sea. The home's two bathrooms will prove indispensable when you want to start exploring in the morning, and the two communal pools will keep you and the kids entertained on the more lazy days.

*There are steps leading up to the front door here. It might not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There’s free parking for one car here.
*The second bedroom is quite small with limited storage space and a bed on the small side. We think it is better suited to children, although it can accommodate two adults.
*The traditional decor, particularly in the living room, might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.
*There is a communal swimming pool here as part of the resort. It may not be accessible in colder months.
