The historic market town of Hexham is a short drive away and offers plenty of activities for families and the pretty village of Corbridge is situated just a few miles further east. Both are perfect for a spot of shopping or indulging in a pleasant dinner or afternoon tea. Upon going through the front door, you will enter a small cloak room area with hooks and boot rack for those muddy boots and clothes after a day s exploring. Heading on you will be in awe as you walk into the large lounge/diner which has arched patio doors on two side which are the original entrances. Inside you have a large three seater sofa, along with a comfy five seater corner sofa huddled around a log burner and large wall mounted TV. In addition, there is a wonderful dining table with bench seating ideal for a feast of champions. To the left is the kitchen which is a cook s dream and everything you need for your stay along with the fantastic addition of an island with bar stools. Through from the lounge is a small snug area with sofa, a great spot to kick back and relax with a good book. Onto the first floor we head up the wooden stairs to an open area with pool table and TV, a great place to relax and unwind. On the left are three king rooms all with en suite shower room.
