"Fantastic city break accommodation"
Stayed in this apartment for a 4 night family city break & really couldn't fault it at all. From enquiring about availability of the property & then booking the property and arranging to get keys etc, all communication with the property's owner Tommy was answered very quickly.
On arrival at the property, we were met by Tommy who showed us around the apt. He is a very friendly man and talked us through everything and helped us get our bearings of the area by telling us where different landmarks were & made a few suggestions of places our children might like to see. He had also left a little welcome pack of milk, butter, cereal, juice, tea & coffee and soda farls. A very nice touch that you certainly don't get everywhere.
The apt itself is in the tallest building in Ireland and it's a fifth floor 2 bedroom apt with 2 bathrooms (one ensuite) and an open plan living/dining/kitchen space. There is secure parking available also which again, you don't get too often on city breaks without paying extra.
The first thing that hits you on arriving is the view, it's amazing! Looking out over the water, at the titanic quarter and the port. The motorway runs beside the property, as does a train line, so cars, trucks, emergency vehicles, trains, boats & ships passing the property...my boys were absolutely made up & spent a lot of time sitting at the floor to ceiling window watching everything! Tommy has even left binoculars in the apt!
With the windows closed, you can only hear the muffled hum of the traffic passing. It is noisy when they're open alright but I've yet to take a city break anywhere in the world where there is no outside noise. With the windows closed it doesn't interfere with sleep, watching tv etc.
The apt is spotlessly clean, with everything you could possibly need for a break away. It is very tastefully decorated, beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are modern (great shower in ensuite!). Towels and bed linen supplied and are of very good quality too!
The location is perfect. We travelled with 3 children, the youngest being 5yrs old, and we were able to walk everywhere from the apt and didn't need public transport/taxi/car for the duration of our stay (apart from the open top tour bus on one day because it wouldn't be a city break if you didn't go on it!!!)
We had a great stay in Belfast and most of this can be attributed to the apt, it's comfort, cleanliness & location. It really is one of the best places we have ever stayed in on a city break and I'd highly recommend it to anyone and would definitely book it again if we ever head belfast direction a second time!
