Eixample is a paradise for the discerning traveller. Some of the city's most famous eating and drinking establishments can be found within minutes of Ah, Mes Amis, and you'll be a short walk away from Casa Mila and Casa Batlló. This is an immaculate home with elegant chic furnishings. When we visited, we were impressed with the silence, the abundant space, and delicate cornicing on the ceiling. As this is a full-time rental, there isn't much art – but that leaves it to you to make your own.

*The second bedroom doesn't have any storage space – this home is better suited for short stays
*The main bedroom didn't have shutters or curtains when we visited – the host has plans to fit them shortly
*Aside from a TV with local channels, this home doesn't have a lot of entertainment options
*Although the kitchen is well-equipped with appliances, it doesn't have the basic cooking ingredients
*You won't find a full length mirror here
