Perched in Porto's historic Miragaia neighbourhood, this modern apartment puts you around a ten-minute stroll from the city centre. Offering scenic views over the Douro River, you'll be perfectly positioned to explore on foot or via public transportation. That being said, it sits on the third floor without a lift, and the local district is notoriously steep, so it may not be the best choice for those with limited mobility. It can also get a bit noisy here, so we suggest packing earplugs. After a wander around town, guests can enjoy the open-plan living area's sociable set-up – preferably over a glass of local Port wine. Come bedtime, the air-conditioned bedrooms encourage a comfortable night's sleep.
Home truths: *The home is located on the third floor without a lift, so it is not suitable for those with limited mobility. *Parking in Porto can be tricky, so instead of driving, we recommend using public transport or exploring on foot. *Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. *The balcony is Juliet-style. You can stand and take in the views but there isn't enough space to sit down. Young children will also need to be accompanied at all times by the windows and on the Juliet balcony. *You won't find a welcome hamper or basic essentials here, so we'd recommend packing some bits and bobs to get you started. The nearest supermarket is a short walk away.
