Inside, your hosts have created a cosy sanctuary with a comfortable, elegantly styled living space and well-equipped kitchen. The neat bedroom has a plump king-sized bed, with velvet cushions and layered blankets which push the snug factor up a couple of notches. In the rolling West Sussex countryside, this home is close to the Cathedral-spired city of Chichester, the cobbled streets of Petworth – with almost more antique shops than people – and the market town of Storrington.
