A Place to Be: Occitanie

This stone villa caught our eye for its traditional features – you’ll find shuttered windows, stone archways and solid wooden doors with decorative door-knockers here. With two kitchens, two dining rooms and two lounges, there’s plenty of space for everyone inside. Outside caters for sunworshippers and shade seekers alike, with a choice of peaceful spots around the pool and garden. And when you’re ready for a change of scene, the medieval town of Uzès, with its cobbled lanes, charming cafes and market square, is on your doorstep.

*While one of the bedrooms and two of the bathrooms aren't photographed, we expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
*One of the ensuite shower rooms is integrated so you won't have complete privacy.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
*There are lots of steps here so it might not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.
*The TV has channels in French and English.
