The village offers all you need with village store, tea room, restaurant and a village pub. A pretty community apple orchard houses a children’s play area and a path that leads down to the riverbank and quay, a popular spot for the local pastime of ‘crabbing’. The River Shack beach café on the quay providing refreshments and light snacks. Close by are the English Riviera beaches and the historic towns and villages of the South Hams.
