It's a fact. Irish women are amongst the most beautiful in the world …

The Celtic complexion is coveted again as fashion and trends move past the 'Instagram face' age.

Professional pouts and fillers lit to perfection are seen as close to over, and this aesthetic is fading quickly.

The selfie obsession and contouring have created a generic look for worldwide, but natural beauty is right back on the radar and is where Irish women shine.

Irish women have always been known for their individualism, fresh, natural looks and clear-skinned beauty.

International Beauty and fashion editors have always scouted the Irish look, and DNA results show that the Irish are the most genetically diverse of all nations of all European countries.

Ireland has benefited from increased multiculturalism, and beauty now comes in all shapes and sizes across the island.

The classic Irish Celtic look of traditional red hair and freckles or dark hair and pale skin never fades and pops up in look books, campaigns and catwalks everywhere.

From Ireland's secret Five Star A-lister Caitriona Balfe, formerly a model and now a Golden Globe nominee, to the chameleon that is Saoirse Ronan, who recently appeared again in Vogue.

High flying supermodel Stella Maxwell who has Northern Ireland connections, has graced many Vogue international covers. Áine O" Gorman's distinctive red hair and alabaster skin are being seen on catwalks worldwide. Represented by Elite London, she shot the Roberto Cavalli lookbook in Milan.

NYC based Irish supermodel Cork's Clara McSweeney, who has similar colouring, is on the books of Next agency and can be seen in every Sephora store across America as the face of the beauty store.

It's true - the classic Irish look is unbeatable worldwide!

However much I would like to disagree with your article and argue in favour of another nationality, it’s impossible after seeing the singer/musician Enya. After watching her music video “It’s in the Rain” I understood why the ancient Greeks believed that beauty nourishes the soul.
