Suzi Quattro has never been credited for her influence on early punk rock in the 70s.
Over the years, her unique, confident style has encouraged countless girls to pick up a mic or guitar. Playing in her dad's band, the Art Quatro Trio, at just eight years old, she started touring internationally with her own group at 14.
Today, Suzi Quatro is one of the most successful female musicians in rock history, and the Detroit-born legend has also starred both on screen and on stage. Quatro turned heads back in 1973 as Leather Tuscadero on "Happy Days" and also spent time "Doin' What Come Naturally" on stage in "Annie Get Your Gun."
Appearing alongside Denis Waterman in the hit Eighties TV show Minder, Suzi said, "I had to kiss Dennis, and he's a pretty good kisser".
Suzi spreads her time between London, Hamburg and Detroit. When living in the UK, her 5-star moated manor house in Chelmsford completely fits the bill. The vast Elizabethan manor house has three floors, nine bedrooms and 3.5 acres of gardens.
The 2023 Suzi QuatroUK Tour begins November 12th, 2023 in Cardiff.
