Ladies Day Galway Races - 28th July 2016

Galway's quintessential race meeting 'The Galway Races' (Monday 25th July – Sunday 31st July) is well underway at Ballybrit racecourse. Attracting up to 160,000 enthusiasts annually, the seven-day event is Ireland's most popular racing festival, adding an estimated €55 million to the city's micro economy.

Thursday is traditionally 'Ladies Day' at the Galway festival, combining the very best in racing and fashion for the pinnacle of the summer racing calendar.

Synonymous with style, Ladies Day at the g (Thursday 28th of July 2016) is always the most glamorous night of the year. The Galway city 5-Star hotel's signature lounges will be brimming with the most sensational style competing for a stunning bespoke creation by master milliner and g Hotel design director, Philip Treacy.

This year the g Hotel & Spa will also be rewarding the most stylish man with a Strellson suit from Hanley's Menswear. The Ladies Day event is hosted by Louise Duffy from Today FM with Judging taking place from 9.30pm -10.30pm.
