Taj Mahal Palace Hotel Mumbai

Aptly described as a sanctuary for the soul on the edge of two worlds, Mumbai's Taj Mahal Palace is one of the world's finest hotels and an iconic landmark that towers over the Gateway of India on the Arabian sea. From the moment you step into the alluring lobby and stare in amazement at the grand staircase up to the famous blue dome, you cannot resist being spellbound by the absolute grandeur of this inherently majestic hotel.

Since opening its doors in 1903, the history of the Taj Palace and the great city of Mumbai, also known as Bombay, have been dramatically intertwined; the flagship hotel of Taj Hotels has hosted maharajas, dignitaries and celebrities for over a century. Each of the 550 rooms & suites between the palace and tower wing offers a striking blend of nostalgic elegance and modern facilities.

The monumental Presidential Suite (Tata Suite) boasts 15 rooms spread over 5,000 sq ft and comes complete with a dedicated staff of 13 to cater for guests every desire. With 1,500 employees, the catering department at the Taj Mahal Palace is the biggest in India, and a team of 250 chefs handle more than 170 orders every 24 hours for just in-room dining alone.

The Royal Mansour Marrakech

"There are few cities in the world that are capable of bewitching you with the same strength and magic as Marrakesh. Few cities, few countries, give as much."Pierre Bergé

Before you even arrive at the Royal Mansour, you will experience - the royal treatment, so to speak. As soon as your flight lands, you are immediately "bumped-up" expedited through customs and led to a Bently for a magic-carpet ride to your awaiting palace, complete with a personal butler.

Of royal provenance and almost entirely hand-painted in gold and silver, the 5-star Royal Mansour Marrakech welcomes you with wonder, opulence and unparalleled guest services. Just a stone's throw away from Marrakech's iconic ancient city walls, the resort is nothing short of lavish, with 53 elegant riads nestled behind a facade mimicking Marrakech's signature city gate. A testament to Morocco's incredible local craftsmanship.

Commissioned by King Mohammed VI, The Royal Mansour Marrakech was born out of a vision to create a spectacular masterpiece moulded with clay from the surrounding Atlas mountains, reflecting the true essence of Moroccan artistry and centuries of tradition.

The stunning private riads offer supreme privacy beneath the sprawling rose plants. You will stand in amazement as your riad's door opens out onto the patio and reveals the quintessence of Moroccan craftsmanship—subtly varying zelliges, fabrics, wood features, rugs, carved plaster and custom-made furniture. The roof terrace views the Atlas Mountains, and a private pool affords guests complete immersion in the Moroccan lifestyle - The Ochre City is imperial.

Orange flower, honeysuckle, jasmine and roses transform and perfume the intimate gardens. When autumn falls, you can enjoy the subtle scent of oleasters daturas and bougainvillaea, while carnations bring on the colour.

There must be shade in a land of sunshine, so palm trees sway gently overhead, tracing their infinite patterns on the ground. There's no sound to disturb guests' reveries, only the music of falling water, which plays such a vital role in any Moroccan garden. Water trickles, flows, cascades, leaps from fountains. Apart from this, all you will hear is birdsong.

Revered as a place of rejuvenation, The Royal Mansour Marrakech Spa creates an intimate universe for a break from life, 2500 sqm divided over 3 floors offer an infinite range of treatments.

Morroco's hidden jewel often frequented by multi-billionaire and ruling King of Morroco, King Mohammed VI.You can stay at The Royal Mansour for approx €1k a night - Enjoy!!
