Beaufort House is a beautiful 18th century manor house set in 40 acres of woodland overlooking the River Laune in County Kerry. The original building on the site was a Short Castle, so called because it was only two stories high. The Castle was built before 1600, as shown on the Carew Manuscript maps of 1598.
This magnificent getaway is situated within ten minutes of Killarney, close to the Gap of Dunloe, the Ring of Kerry and Killarney National Park.
Owner operated by Donald and Rachel Cameron; Beaufort house and courtyard cottages provide self-catering accommodation for up to thirty guests.
Local attractions include Fishing, Golf, Walking, Riding and Sightseeing.
