The Savoy Hotel

It was our third consecutive New Years Eve spent at the Savoy, and the hotel experience was once again first class. The Executive Room was comfortable and spacious, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were courteous and welcoming. We will be back again no doubt.

We booked the junior suite option to enjoy what we expected a nice relaxing night in a nice room - however when we checked in at 3.30 pm ( check in time) we were told there was only 2 junior suites left ( room 204 and 208) the receptionists spoke with each other for a moment and decided to give us room 204. They said that there will be a little bit of noise in the room until about 11 o clock but kind of laughed it off saying that “we will be out on the town anyway so won’t effect ye”! This wasn’t our plan to begin with we wanted a nice quiet night in a hotel that we laid over 400€ for 1 night - however although we were told the noise would be until about 11 we tolerated that until the music from the wedding went on until 1.30am.. it was loud and the tv could not even over power the noise of the band and Dj playing at the wedding - why did the receptionist blatantly lie to us upon check in and say it would only be till 11pm and not 1.30am… we were fuming over this! We expected a lot more. The room itself was spacious , comfy bed but quite dirty with long hairs hanging out of the coffee machine and dried in toothpaste from other guests all over the bathroom sinks. Clearly not cleaned very well. We did go for a drink in the bar but the atmosphere was dry, dull and no vibe to it whatsoever, we also visited the leisure center which was more like a plunge pool with a very old Jacuzzi and steam room, we even asked the leisure center receptionist where the pool was as we couldn’t believe the pool we went to was the actual pool for the whole hotel. We were expecting something like an actual swimming pool and not a tiny little plunge pool. Overall our experience was not nice, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a nice relaxing weekend away as if you get the rooms we got, there will be no relaxing! Scoring this low due to the receptionists lying to us about noise times, dirty bedrooms and pathetic leisure center.

This hotel is a must stay, my boyfriend and I call this home away from home. We have been staying here in suite 204 and its just so beautiful, spacious, clean modern and the bathtub is more like a Jacuzzi, there is his and her sinks and a big shower. if you are a bath person this is the room to stay in. The main reason we love to stay here is because of the staff, they are really so kind and helpful and if you are lucky to deal with the beautiful sarah at reception she will go above and beyond to accomadate you. Food is great and theres really nothing like the savoy experience.

My wife and I had a lovely 3 nights stay from 12th Jan 2022. All staff were lovely, most helpful.
The Room and Suite was beautiful, Comfortable had everything we needed. Breakfast lunch and dinner was beautiful. Jessica went over and above and done everything possible to make sure our stay was very special thank you again Jess. We will be back soon P G.

The Savoy Hotel Limerick is honestly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in everyone that works there go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience from reception to the restaurant for dinner to breakfast the next morning I could not fault anything a special shutout to Emma and exceptional server who looked after us for dinner and breakfast she is an asset to the hotel we shall return soon but for 2 nights 1 wasn't enough

Just after staying at the hotel and it was without doubt the best hotel stay we've been on. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. Food and drinks were top class and service could not be faulted. Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely brilliant stay . The staff were fantastic. The food was beautiful. The room was beautiful very clean we were there with our 3 children the were looked after superb . Very much looking forward to our next return.

I can not rate this hotel enough. I checked in on a Sunday evening and checked out Friday morning.
The staff are amazing, friendly and very professional, a real credit to the hotel.
The hotel itself has a warm and cozy feel to it. The room (310) was fab! The food, oh my god the food (and the wine) was so amazing, I ate here every night! Compliments to the chef - breakfast and dinner

"Excellent Service within the heart of Limerick City"
Lazy Sunday Offer was amazing and great value for the service and experience.Arrived on the Sunday to a great welcome by the reception team. I was able to use the Steam room and pool that day and following morning. The bottle of Prosecco in room on arrival is a nice treat. Breakfast in the morning had a wide variety of food and staff were very friendly and pleasant.
Dinner in Hamptons Bar & Grill was perfect. Book in advance but the service and again friendly staff made the experience even better.
Also late check-out on the Monday is a nice bonus!!

Stayed on dinner b&b package .
The staff were wonderful from checkin to check out .We had one minor request which was dealt with straight away without any fuss.We were joined by our daughter last minute ,but it was facilited by reservations with ease .The bedroom was very comfortable , complete with tea/coffee making facilities, still and sparkling water,and an ice bucket.Beds were turned down with little chocolate on pillow ,oh the luxury!Bathroom had both bath and shower, slippers and fluffy robes included. Hotel was spotless from top to bottom.Dinner at Hamptions was a culinary delight and breakfast was also very good .The Savoy boasts a great central location adjacent to shopping etc .Thanks to all in Limerick Savoy. We'll be back.

Absolutely fabulous
My wife and I stayed here for two nights and it is a fabulous hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was included and was really good and is served until 12. I would definitely recommend it as it is in the centre of town and a really nice hotel.

"Brilliant stay"
Stayed here to catch up with friends, made feel like royalty from beginning to end, staff were first class so welcoming and accommodating in every area. Rooms very spacious, bathroom products luxurious, the bar had a great buzz. Really appreciated the late breakfast after a late night out.
