The Europe Hotel & Resort in Killarney is simply outstanding. From the moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by peace, comfort, and incredible views of the lakes and mountains. The setting is breathtaking — it feels both luxurious and completely connected to nature at the same time. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a balcony overlooking the lake. Waking up to that view was unforgettable. The staff were professional, warm, and always ready to help, adding to the overall feeling of calm and care that defines the hotel. The spa is one of the best I’ve experienced in Ireland, with an indoor-outdoor infinity pool overlooking the lake — my absolute favourite feature. Swimming there while taking in the stunning scenery is an experience you won’t forget. The spa also includes saunas, relaxation areas, and everything you need to truly unwind. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of fresh, local ingredients, and dinner at the restaurant was equally impressive — delicious food served with attention to detail. Whether you’re visiting for a relaxing getaway, a romantic weekend, or to explore Killarney National Park, The Europe Hotel & Resort is a destination in itself. Elegant, peaceful, and perfectly managed — a true five-star experience that lives up to its reputation.

One of my wife's favourite hotels in the world, the Europe has an incredible position on the lake with great mountain views, only 10 minutes from Killarney but we'll away from the hubbub. Its service is everything you could expect from a 5 star hotel but really friendly as well. You can have a surprisingly reasonably priced lunch in the bar, enjoying the fabulous surroundings. We chose to have cocktails as well. On this occasion we were unable to eat dinner there but in the past this was truly an experience as well.

Luxurious hotel break What a resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay in this luxurious hotel. The food was top notch all the way through from breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spa and pool facilities are amazing. We spent all day soaking up the sun at the outdoor pool. We will definitely return soon.

"5 star - loved it!!!!" It was amazing, the leisure centre is out of this world and that hot tub!!! We got chocolates delivered to the room because it was my husbands birthday. The room. Was a bit small and very warm at night. There was no air con in the room. We ate in the brasserie for lunch. The staff were so nice. We ate in the Italian for dinner. We will be back. Loved it.

"Loved the place" Nowhere can be perfect, so let’s get the bad news over first, the bath water was slow to empty. That’s it, everything else was lovely. The setting, magnificent. Overlooking the lake, facing the mountains. Cloudy, rainy or sunny the view is amazing. The food, no complaints here. Substantial and varied breakfast, diner in the brasserie was excellent. The sea food platter, was so fresh and tasty. The spa, well we have travelled the world a bit this year, and the spa is among the best we have visited. Lying in the outside , nicely heated pool and looking at the scenery, great. Then you have the staff. Very friendly, helpful overall a brilliant place to stay.

"Exceptional 5 star hotel" I stayed in The Europe Hotel & Resort during the month of October 2019 for 3 nights. This was my second stay (the previous one was some 4-5 years ago). My expectations were high as these were set from my previous visit. The place is owned (I think) by the Liebherr corporation and they must have brought German tradesmen to build the place and maintain it for them as everything was exceptional. I stayed in room # 65 and while I didn't have a lake view, there was nothing wrong with the room or the view. In fact, the room was excellent, clean and the furniture including the bed were of high quality. The bed was very comfortable. All the fittings were of high quality. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly throughout the stay. The hotel grounds were kept immaculately. I visited the spa area and used the indoor pool and the outdoor vitality area. The vista of the Lough Leane and the Killarney mountains in the background is breathtaking. Stay in this resort is not cheap but the experience is exceptional. I can highly recommend it as one of the best hotels/resorts in Ireland

"Beautiful setting with fabulous food!" Lunch with family. I had beef strogonoff which was delicious and other dishes, beautiful fresh fish and chips and French onion soup. The key to all of it was the amazing views, breathtaking! Allow extra time to take a walk after your lunch/dinner. Spectacular!

"10th Wedding Anniversary" We wanted something special to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and we most certainly got that from the moment we arrived. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite where a little gift was waiting for us. The hotel is truly amazing with elegant decor and spectacular views. We ate one of the nights in the restaurant, the food was excellent. On the Saturday night we booked the afternoon tea, the layout of the afternoon tea and the selection of cakes was delightful. One word for the Spa and Pool WOW! It is truly breathtaking. All in all from the staff and facilities this is by far the best hotel I've stayed in, in Ireland. Thank you for making our 10th Wedding Anniversary a very Special weekend to remember.
