"Amazing B&B and Irish Hospitality"
We stayed one night but I wish we stayed more! The B&B is in an absolutely picturesque location - definitely off the beaten path, but worth the trip. Olive is a lovely hostess! The property is part of a working farm. The grounds are lovely. There is a great sun room where we had tea when we arrived and then dinner; breakfast was served in a separate room.

The room was a bit small but worked for us. The bathroom was definitely small but we made it work. Bed was very comfortable.

We had dinner the night we arrived and if Olive is cooking, I'd highly recommend it! She offered rack of lamb and it was easily the best meal of our trip. Every course was amazing. She also has a small wine list available, including half bottles, which was perfect for my husband and me.

After dinner, Olive sent us down the road to the pub for a drink - it's maybe a 3 minute walk. Definitely a locals place (and after hitting up the more touristy places in Dublin this was a relief!).

Breakfast the next morning was amazing. I'd recommend the salmon and scrambled eggs, but everything we ate was delicious.

Olive is such a sweet, warm, welcoming hostess. She sent us on walks around the neighborhood and gave us lots of recommendations of where else to visit. I'd visit again in a heartbeat.

"Amazing B&B"
My husband and I recently celebrated our 20th anniversary by taking a (kid free) vacation to Ireland. We stayed one evening at Glasha Farmhouse as part of this trip. We will never forget Miss Olive and her beautiful home or gracious spirit. We felt like we had come home as soon as we arrived. It was pretty incredible how we felt both like family as well as VIPs at the same time. Given her delicious home cooked meals and all of the other work that goes into running her farm and B&B, we were nearly convinced that she never sleeps! We're pretty sure Miss Olive is a visiting angel. As for the town of Ballymacarby, it is a haven of idyllic rolling fields of green pastures, friendly people, and a local pub where we and another guest spent the evening getting to know the owner and each other. We left feeling so blessed by our time a Glasha, we wished, just a little;) that our children had been there to experience it with us.

"Absolutely Fantastic!"
The house is gorgeous and so are the grounds. Olive was and amazing host. She went out of her way for us. We even got our salmon breakfast plate decorated with flowers from the garden. Absolutely wonderful. Beautiful countryside, very peaceful and serene. We highly recommend to anyone considering staying at Glasha!
FYI We had to switch to our Google maps from our car GPS because the car one took us to a different spot. Maybe someone will find that info useful.

"Amazing place"
This place is amazing! When we arrived Olive greeted us and told us all about the farmhouse. The rooms were pristine and comfortable. The food! The food was soooooo good. I had my first blood sausage in over a decade and it was delicious. The last time was not so.

"As nice as our home!"
The property was outstanding and our room was better than most in Ireland and Scotland for that matter... for the price. There were no problems anywhere to be found. The shower was wonderful with a serious stream of hot water which is not usual for B&B's throughout the Country.
Aside from near perfect accommodations, the breakfast was very nice as well! Extremely well done and the coffee was perfect which made for a wonderful nights stay and a fine experience. You wouldn't believe Glasha House was a working farm milking 700+ producing cows.
Don't hesitate to book here and make sure it's for several nights, it's well worth it with many historic sights in the vicinity.
Our Hostess, Olive, was very nice to deal with and we would certainly recommend this as a five Star accommodation without question.
