"Ideal location"
We wanted somewhere that was out of the city and quiet but with the facility to commute into Dublin. In every respect Aberdeen Lodge did this. We were able to eat locally in Sandymount and picked up the DART train at Sydney Road which took us quickly into the heart of Dublin. Our room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was enjoyable in a well sited dining room overlooking the garden. The sea side promenade at Sandymount is nearby and provides a pleasant opportunity for sea air and a walk along a promenade.

"Wonderful place!"
From the moment we arrived, Pat greeted us, treated us to amazing tea and cookies and took the time to go over the area with us. Beds were very comfortable. The Traditional Irish breakfast was out of this world!

"Friendly, helpful staff"
When my spouse and I stayed at Aberdeen Lodge, it was after a long day of unexpected changes. After booking our stay with Aberdeen Lodge earlier that day, we found the staff to be extremely welcoming, supportive, and helpful. Pat, the owner, and Renata, a receptionist, provided tips on things to do and see.

The facilities were beautiful, as was the rest of the neighborhood. Breakfast was extravagant and a great bargain.

All in all, the staff at Aberdeen Lodge helped set the tone for a great holiday in Ireland.

Aberdeen Lodge is situated in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and the home is charming as well. The room and bathroom were spacious. The breakfasts were delicious and the dining room looks out over the lovely back yard. The hosts were welcoming and helpful with information about the area. It’s a great location to get away from the crowds in the city, yet when you want to go into the city it’s a very quick enjoyable walk to the DART station which gets you to the city center in about 7 minutes.
