“Great Location with HONEST, Friendly, Helpful Staff” Harrington Hall is in great location served by friendly, helpful staff. Ciprian and Diego went beyond the expected assistance in providing information. For example, we were wondering about the regions Dublin 2 and Dublin 6. Diego printed a map showing all the zones when we came back to hotel. This place already received high rating from me early in our stay. I thought it couldn't get any better but it did. We had a party of 18. One member left early with most of the group. Housekeeping person found his tablet and cell phone in a drawer. The honest person delivered the items to reception staff. They notified me and I signed for the items. (Option was for them to send the items to a provided address but a credit card charge is required.) I am thoroughly impressed with the staff. Location Except for a few noisy late nights from nightclubs in “The Dean” hotel and “Dicey’s Garden Bar” across the Harcourt Street, this place is perfect. Many restaurants and shops are within a mile. The building is within easy walking distance of many “attractions”, restaurants and shops. St. Stephens Park is about half mile north of the hotel. Trinity College is only a short distance further. If your group has young adults, the two nightclubs appear to be popular with long lines before opening. If you are a light sleeper though, reserve a room away from west side of the hotel. Rooms There is only one key given for each room. Each key is to be given to reception before leaving premises. When the front door is locked late into the night, a bell and intercom informs reception person you are waiting to enter. Room 22 suite is the largest room with a safe and loft. The other rooms do not have a safe but literature states valuables can be locked with reception staff. My room was 31. The shower liquid soap and shampoo are difficult to reach for someone under 5 feet high. It is best to bring your own shampoo. One bar of soap was provided. There are holding bars in the shower. The overhead water pressure is weak but adequate. The lower hand held unit has even weaker water pressure. An appliance to boil hot water was provided along with cups and various packages. We brought along our own hot chocolate packages. We used the ceiling fan a few times but never turned on the heating unit against the wall. Housekeeping is performed daily. Electricity: The master switch next to door entry must be pushed on for anything electrical to work. The outlets require a special 3 prong adapter. I only brought one of those adapters allowing only one item to be charged. The reception desk provided loaner adapters. My niece brought a unit from home that not only converts the electricity to US 110 volt but also has multiple outlets and USB charging ports. That is the best method. Access The building has one small elevator and three floors. Walking up and down the stairs was not difficult. However, the last flight of stairs has deeper steps and seemed to require more energy to walk up. Breakfast For nominal cost, Full or Continental Breakfast is provided in floor -1. The cost was 7.95Euro for Full or 6.50Euro for Continental Breakfast if breakfast was ordered the previous night before 11pm. The full breakfast is from menu and includes the Continental buffet Breakfast. The buffet pastry with apple filling on top was extremely good. Overall, our group including me is extremely satisfied with the hotel and highly recommends it.

I stayed with my husband at The Harrington Hall Hotel for a winter wedding at St Patrick’s Cathedral and afterwards we went to the reception at The Shelborne Hotel! The Harrington Hall Hotel was ideally situated for walking to everything we needed to get to, It was great to be near all the shops, restaurants and places of interest, too for New Year. We had a very large room on the ground floor, with plenty of room to spread ourselves out! It was beautifully decorated, clean, warm and comfortable…
