Dublin House & Garden Cottage: Dublin

Two unique historical courtyard properties which have been lovingly restored to offer discerning clients exceptional living in a secluded and serene setting. Magnificently set in a leafy Dublin suburb on the fringes of parklands, golf courses and the Royal Canal, the recently accredited Five Star Carriage House (two bedrooms) and Garden Cottage (two bedrooms) formerly served as the coaching stables for 5-Star Luttrellstown Castle Estate.
Five Star clients can expect a quality rental which oozes character and charm with all the modern conveniences and features of a luxurious home.

The cobbled heritage courtyard complete with shady pergola provides a dreamlike setting for entertaining small groups and family celebrations.

Accommodation:
Oozing character and charm, the semi-detached Garden Cottage forms part of The Courtyard and overlooks the David Shackleton designed mid-20th century Beechpark Gardens.
It sleeps 5 guests with 2 double bedrooms + 2 bed settees in the lounge.
The last 10 photos in the gallery are those of the Garden Cottage.

The Carriage House faces onto its sunny enclosed granite and cobblestone courtyard, surrounded by a cluster of outbuildings dating from the early 1700's.
It also sleeps 5 guests with one double and one twin room + a large bed settee.

The conversion from coach house to home has left arches where giant doors once hung filled with picture windows painted plum in contrast to the pumpkin flushed walls. A glazed entrance lobby leads to a bright and intimate living room. The living space is furnished with a delightful collection of antiques, books, paintings and ornaments that tempt scrutiny. Rough plastered white walls and well-worn wooden columns remind us of a more useful time. The house enjoys sustainable underfloor heating on the ground floor, but there is also a wood burning stove for cosiness.

The spacious kitchen & dining area retains some stable detailing in iron grids, fittings and bruised door posts. The upstairs double bedrooms keep the original rustic stone walls and tiny windows. The master is en-suite, and a family bathroom serves the second.

"Awesome! Really a beautiful surprise"

This is the type of property that makes me sure I will come back. Beautiful, private and very well built. Well designed and very well appointed, the owner made sure we were provided for. Her helper, Phil, went way above and beyond to keep us comfortable. We would LOVE to return.

"Better than expected! Isn't that what we all want?"

The place was beautiful, everything we needed and more. We felt like we lived in Ireland for 10 days. The sheep were so nice to come home to every night. The courtyard and view of the courtyard was terrific. The remodel of the stables was very well done with very high end finishes. The perfect mix of old and new. We really enjoyed all our time in the house.
