Executive Chef John O'Leary and his team have devised a wonderful menu celebrating the best of the famous Wild Atlantic Way route using local Kerry produce. Enjoy a choice of the 4 course Ring of Kerry menu or 5 course Wild Atlantic Way menu. Specially selected prime Munster beef, freshly landed Atlantic seafood and seasonal creations create a memorable dining experience. Executive Chef John O'Leary creates with ingredients sourced locally and in season. They are treated with careful attention to ensure the true flavours of Ireland come out in his dishes.

My friend and I visited and dined in The Yew Tree for a three course dinner mid week. We were a bit unsure as to whether or not there would be a good atmosphere mid week, but, in fact, it was lovely. The staff were very efficient and our waitress, Charlotte was amazing. She was extremely attentive ensuring to fill up our water glasses without having to ask and we never had to search for her as she ensured we had everything we needed. She was very friendly and knowledgable about all the food on the menu and had great recommendations! The food was fantastic, portion sizes were perfect and it was very tasty. I will certainly be back again when I’m back visiting Killarney!

We dined in the Yew Tree while staying in the Muckross Park to mark our engagement which had happened earlier during the year during lockdown.

The meal was wonderful from start to finish. The food was delicious, service attentive and the attention to detail made it a wonderful setting to celebrate in.

The staff also gave us a congratulatory platter with our dessert which was a lovely touch.

Wow! I don’t even know where to start I have so many good things to say! My boyfriend and I came here for dinner while visiting Ireland. We were greeted by the very friendly host and escorted to our table. We decided to do the tasting menu which I highly recommend. Zsolt and Nebojsa took amazing care of us throughout the evening, we followed their recommendations for wine and food selection and were definitely not disappointed. Our experience at Yew Tree was superb in every way, from the service to the fresh local ingredients prepared in delicious dishes (and a really good deal price wise). Hurry in before the secret gets out!

We dined here twice during a two week holiday in Kerry. The food was delicious and the staff were wonderfully welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable. The dining rooms are sumptuously decorated. The Yew Tree is definitely top of our list of places to revisit when we can get back to Kerry again!

"Not to be missed"
We are just back from an amazing 10 days travelling around Kerry, and one of the highlights of our entire trip had to be the dinner in the Yew Tree restaurant.

Such high quality food and standards, I would drive all the way from Dublin to Killarney and back just to go for dinner again it was that good! Everything was fresh and seasonal, every single item on your plate was well thought out and went perfectly together. I ordered the lamb and it was just cooked to perfection.

If you are in the area, this is not to be missed.

"Excellent dinner"
We stayed at the hotel and had a package that included dinner at this restaurant. So glad we did! Every dish was excellently prepared and presented.

I didn't try the fine dining, but enjoyed breakfast here every day. Many options to try on the buffet, but you can also order off the menu. Not being shy, I enjoyed the porridge, and also tried several things from the buffet. My friend had a small omelette which covered a dinner plate. One days like that we had breakfast and weren't hungry until dinner.
