5 star experience - amazing food in a sophisticated setting with great service.

Had a meal here as part of our stay. Oyster rockefeller to start, sirloin with bernaise sauce (cooked perfectly) and a raspberry mille-feuille with for dessert. All served with charm and efficiency by the staff and especially Vincenzo.

We dined in the lake room on Thursday and it was well worth the experience. The oyster starters were spectacular followed by sea bass main course. Everything went so well together, it was a culinary delight. Our waiter Jack provided excellent service. He knew the menu well and shared tips on what to expect from the dish so there were no surprises - he advised the oysters were cooked which I wasn’t expecting, but so worth it. We got some amazing cocktails and Jack was well versed in what the bar stocked and what best to serve with the cocktail. My other half is an aspiring mixologist and was well impressed with his old fashioned and the espresso martini was on point! I’d highly recommend and return again! Worth the splurge!

"Wonderful food and amazing view"
We did not stay here but were told to come up for a bite or a drink for the view. The hotel was gorgeous inside and I definitely would love to stay at least one night when we return to Kerry. The food was good and the view from the dining room spectacular.

Dinner each evening in the Lake Room restaurant did not disappoint in any way. The menu was varied and had some excellent fish choices. We both liked this experience very much and of course the decent wine list helped as well. The starters must be singled out for special mention.

"Beautiful Location, Excellent Staff, Truly 5*"
From the time of our arrival we were made to feel welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed and all the staff present Irish hospitality at its best. The quality of service is outstanding throughout and the dinner in the Lake Room was just superb. The room was warm and comfortable and beautifully presented. Highly Recommend if you are looking for some luxury whilst visiting the Kingdom of Kerry. We will definitely return in the near future! Thanks to all the team@ Aghadoe.
