Lovely place, ideal wedding venue. Food very good and excellent service, enough staff looking after the tables ...which is rare nowadays!! It has a kinda old fashioned feel to the place which has its own appeal.
The Walled Garden is worth visiting and a stroll down to the river.
Only think I didnt like was my accomodation was a little bit away from the main reception area, others probably didnt mind!

We came for a friend's wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We stayed as a group in one of the houses, which suited us and would have been spacious enough for a longer stay.

"Lovely anniversary break!"
We spent one night here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and just fell in love with Lough Rynn!

The house is just beautiful and the setting stunning! We were blessed with dry weather and we were able to walk around the grounds and enjoy the views.

We booked the O Carolan suite and it was beautiful, very different! It’s up on the top floor and very spacious, well worth the small fee to upgrade. I wish I had the bathroom in my house!! Freestanding bath, steam room shower, double sinks and separate toilet. There is a small balcony/terrace for your use, great view of the lake, it would have been lovely if there had been a table and chairs so you could sit out on the balcony.

The staff are so nice, friendly and always smiling! When we arrived there was a lovely plate of goodies with Happy Anniversary written on it, a really nice touch! We enjoyed a very nice dinner and at the end of the meal we received another plate of chocolates and macaroons and two glasses of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. It was really so special and we really appreciated that Lough Rynn did this to mark our special day!

We wished we could have stayed longer than one night as the hotel felt so relaxing and homely but we will definitely return! We have stayed in a lot of beautiful hotels in Ireland and Lough Rynn is definitely in our top 5. Thank you Lough Rynn for an anniversary to remember!

"Night away to mark wedding anniversary"
We recently enjoyed a one night stay in Lough Rynn, to mark our wedding anniversary. We were unsure going away how Covid-19 would impact our stay, but the hotel have adapted wonderfully. All of the staff we met were fantastic, going over and above to make us feel welcome, and to enhance our stay (even picking fresh mint from the garden for a drink!). We felt safe and reassured at all times.
The highlight of our stay was the 5 course meal - the head chef has been there a while and the food is amazing. Breakfast was fantastic too. No queues or delays, which I have heard about in other places.
Room was comfy, and the grounds are so well kept.
Some of the main areas in the hotel have become a little tired, and our bedroom was minus a bath. Otherwise fab stay, thanks to everyone in Lough Rynn!

"Excellent customer service"
We stayed here for 2 nights. All of the staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic the only complaint was that it was too hot and we couldn’t turn the heat down or off. Extremely comfortable bed. We attended a Wedding. Great venue for a Wedding and the food was excellent. Beautiful grounds.

"You'll want to keep going back"
I visited this hotel with my wife in January 2020 to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

It wasn't our first visit to the hotel and we certainly were not disappointed on our return.

You get a courteous and friendly welcome at reception and we did not experience any delay in getting our key and being shown to our room.

The room was spacious and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the room had all the amenities that you would expect in a hotel of this standard.

We had our evening meals in the drawing room which provides an excellent menu in a more informal setting than the dining room. The food was excellent and we could not fault it in any way.

Breakfast was served in the dining room. There was a good selection of cereals, juices, breads etc. on offer and the staff took our hot food order at the table. As with the evening meal you could not fault the quality of the food or the service.

The grounds of the hotel are definitely worth a walk around with the walled garden being the centerpiece.

This was an experience that has given nothing only fond memories and we will definitely be going back in the near future.

Brilliant
Tremendous hotel with beautiful public areas, delicious food and excellent bedrooms. Special thanks to Tracy in the restaurant and Daniel, one of the managers for their excellent customer service. Only negative is if there is a wedding chose a room further from the wedding annex.
