"What a fabulous wedding"
We were invited by our friends to attend their wedding at Cliveden, what a privilege.

From the moment we arrived the service was superb the staff attentive but unobtrusive and the decoration to the whole house fabulous.

The suite was beautiful and spacious and even though it was July it was chilly and the fire was lit for us.

Breakfast in the morning was super and again the staff helpful and attentive.

I’ve stayed here before and have no hesitation in recommending it, its perfect.

"Dream come true"
What can I say. We stayed here over night after our wedding as it's something we both always wanted to do and it didn't disappoint. The staff and house amazing, comfy bed and good nights sleep, and breakfast was 10/10. Be sure to walk along this lovley stretch along the Thames while visiting.

"An AMAZING experience"
Beyond any of
My expectations. The French dining room was Reserved to continue you on with a
Wedding celebration.
The room. Food & service was magnificent.
I was thoroughly impressed with 'drinks on the upper terrace' which gave a
Splendid feel to the occasions with glorious sunshine and magnificent views.
The staff throughout were helpful friendly and couldn't do enough to make
Me Comfortable. Especially Jack.
Front of house staff. Who made me comfy on terrace with Coffee and champagne.
The private in house dining manager is unique.
He adds warmth and charisma. Charming chap. (Nothing to do with Portugal wining the Eurovision Song Contest!)
I Shall return for my daughters 18th in June 2018...
Or any occasion I can find!!!!
I Loved my experience at Clivedon House xxx

“Absolutely fantastic”

We spent the weekend here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and it was wonderful. We had the afternoon tea, and the tasting menu in the Andre Garrett restaurant in the evening which were superb. Some of the best food we have ever had.
We enjoyed the gardens, the parts of the spa that were open and the hotel itself. The staff were friendly, helpful and always attentive without being obtrusive.
We would love to go back and do it all again.

“Magical stay at Spring Cottage - an exceptional stay!”

We returned to Cliveden for our tenth wedding anniversary to show our daughters where we were married. We had been back a few years ago when the hotel was under the management of the von Essen group; an unremarkable stay which was really disappointing. This time, however, we had a wonderful visit. We were lucky enough to stay in Spring Cottage which was amazing: fantastic location; luxurious rooms and brimming with history. The perfect place to stay as a family (three bedrooms) and a glass of champagne watching the girls play in the garden on the bank of the Thames, watching the boats drift by, was truly magical. The service in the hotel was first class, the food in the restaurant was delicious and we could not fault the experience. The only minor point that could have been improved was that the cooked breakfast was left as a self-service option on a hotplate and not cooked to order and we thought that this was marginally disappointing; I feel slightly churlish mentioning this but it could be improved upon so we thought we would let you know! One of the best hotel experiences we have had as a family. Thank you!
