Yate cottage is a lovely cottage. The Swinbournes have thought of everything you might need or want, but also it is so pleasant and cosy I really feel like being at home there. One of the things I love is sitting in the windowsill, cushion in my back with a cup of coffee in the morning, looking out over the garden, some sheep and the hills in the distance. It is well placed, in a small quiet lane in a beautiful area with many walks from your doorstep. And there are many interesting places to visit close by. There is an excellent busservice to Hebden Bridge and Haworth but also with an easy change with good connection to places like East Riddleston Hall, Skipton or Saltaire for instance. So this place has defenitely become my favourite place, after 3 visits, I am hoping to come again next year.

I have used hundreds of self catering properties over 35 years and Yate Cottage is now one of my top 3 places to stay. Aesthetically beautiful with high end decor, this cottage has everything you need. It is in a very quiet location and the welcome pack includes home made cakes and some eggs from the owners own free range chickens.

This was the best Sykes Holiday Cottage we have so far stayed in. The layout and facilities within suited our needs very well. It was, for us, a superb home from home holiday without all the restrictions of a hotel. We look forward to returning next year.

This is one of the most comfortable holiday cottages we ever stayed in. The full kitchen is better than our own, and we very much appreciated the welcome basket. The cottage is tastefully decorated, and it was a pleasure to stay. The surroundings are beautiful, and there is a lot do to nearby. We would have liked a longer holiday!
