All I can say is WOW!!
This place and location well exceeded my expectations!
It ticked all the boxes and if you are a person who likes beautiful country walks with stunning views added with some solitude and piece and quite with wildlife all around you then please please please book this place. With only half an hr drive to Shrewsbury market hall where you can buy amazing produce to cook some lovely meals in the cabin or a short walk down to the stipertsones inn (lovely land lord and land lady) . And next door is the local shop which is an aladins cave!
Oh yeh..... hot tub under the stars!!!! WOW! Perfect,
Perfect!
If you like more beautiful walks and a stunning drive then go to long mynd. It’s like driving into a Swiss village through the hills from stiperstones. This log cabin is where you can do and see so much locally or just stay at the cabin and relax. 5 star self catering accommodation for me. Amazing!!!

My partner and I stayed in the Wilderness Lodge with another couple. It was absolutely spectacular! It's not often that a place looks better in person than the pictures but this place exceeded our expectations in every way. The lodge is right in the middle of the Shropshire nature reserve. The walks in the surrounding area provide you with spectacular views of the countryside full of wildlife and natural beauty. We had regular visitors... Three peregrine falcons that circled above the lodge every day. We loved sitting in the wood fired hot tub of an evening and relaxing. The lodge has great facilities, everything you need from cooking utensils to board games. The shop at the bottom of the hill is well stocked and fairly priced and the pub next door are extremely friendly and the food was very reasonable. Snail Beach mines are definitely worth a trip to but make sure you look on their Facebook page for when they are open/running tours as we went on a Saturday expecting it to be open and it wasn't but it was still good to look round. I can't wait to come back here again. Only downside was that the single beds in the second room are too small for an average sized adult so it would be good if the room could be adapted for a second couple. Would definitely recommend and I can't wait to go back!

This is my second time here and I absolutely love it, everything is spotless they have thought of everything, the new hot tub is amazing, being in there looking up at the stars is amazing, the pub down the lane is lovely and the shop is a little goldmine well worth a look, the walk up the hill is lovely and the view breathtaking, I cannot fault this place at all, we will be returning again for the third time x
