Dating back to the 17th century, you can feel the history of this home in the frescoed ballroom (seating up to 50 people for dinner), lounges set around ancient fireplaces and the shining farmhouse-style kitchen. Bedrooms are spread across the main villa, a converted hunting lodge and former stables in the grounds. Speaking of, the rose gardens, herb gardens and vine-twisted pergolas seem to go on forever. Apart from an inviting outdoor swimming pool, the crowning glory is the dedicated spa with its Turkish bath, sauna and hydrotherapy centre.
