Stayed here for three days last month. Possibly the nicest place we've ever stayed in Dublin or Ireland! House has lovely furnishings, the host is super friendly and the views are amazing. What more could you ask for!

Our family of five just completed a wonderful one week stay at Villa by the Sea and it was outstanding! The villa has it all - ideal location, beautiful finishings and a great owner/host. The pictures on the website are lovely, but they do not do justice to the actual home. The owner, Thelma, has taken great care in decorating and preparing the home for guests, which is exactly what you will feel like in this great property.

We had an excellent 6 night stay in October 2017 and highly recommend it. The house is very comfortable and generously equipped to welcome guests - ample towels, pillows etc. The location is convenient for Blackrock and Dun Laoghaire town centre, though in both cases it would be a decent walk and a car is recommended. There is a big supermarket within a 5 minute drive. The owner, Thelma, is organised, kind and genuinely wanted us to enjoy a house that she obviously loves. We tested her with our incompetence both at the beginning and the end (arriving late, mucking around with keys) and she couldn’t have been more patient and friendly. The WiFi was perfect, TV easy to use, kitchen well equipped. There is no tumble dryer which challenged our family of 6 at first but the house was warm and things dried quickly. We would definitely stay again. Final shout out to Five Star, who were very attentive and really made an effort to help us make the booking a success
